"Talking lightly, in hobbit fashion..." So many of my stories have made use of that! It's a pleasure to hear you read.

Thank you. I sometimes think I've written too many stories where the hobbits get all upset abut something small. This passage proves that they can handle the big things so I am certain little issues don't stay on their minds too long.

Lovely reading! i especially love the part where MErry and Pippin commend each other about getting ahead of the orcs' game and how Pippin guessed the orcs' game and how it's Merry's turn to prove his knowledge with geography. <3 that part.
