So I got a call early on Saturday morning wishing me a Happy New Year from one of my oldest/best friends that I haven't talked too really since I got back from Europe.

Some days are just that craptacular.
Spent the afternoon in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway with an elderly client with the flu to get to his house to fix his email.
Because as apparently either:
a - I have a disability to say no.
b - As an start-up I feel the need to give super service.
c - I was duped by an old man.

Alright, now I'm recovered from the trip I'm almost caught up with work as well. As well, due to hard work and sacrifice of my love of pork - kept the weight off that I lost from starving in Europe.
We'll I guess not entirely starving, but going on a diet of exclusively inexpensive cheap wine, fresh baguettes, and things that consisted of at ( Read more... ) -
Back from Europe
Just catching up with the flist and sleep. Gawd it was interesting and I have new hair! And new purses! And new tasty-pastry skills courtesy of the Cordon Bleu!
Plus....I am now poor. But not so much that I won't do it again next year in time for Paris Fashion Week.

Seriously. That's what its called. I picked it up as an experiment at the store and Exotic Chapeau is quite lovely. -

Great Day
So I actually was really productive today, had many meetings and much work was completed. Now I have a splitting headache.
Time for some catch up on the flist and have a glass of wine.

Its only been 30 minutes and its already been an awesome morning!
So one of my clients that has been causing me undue stress (my fault) has been resolved yesterday and I actually slept last night! With no nightmares!
As a result I woke up this morning rested, with no chest pains, and ready to be productive. I've even gone for a jog already. Its a miracle ( Read more... ) -
Dr. Strange: Sorcerer Supreme. And wait..Neil Gaiman?
So just taped this direct to dvd animated movie from Lionsgate and watched it tonight. It doesn't suck! Seriously, I am very surprised. My only experience with Dr. Strange is rifilling through 1970s back issues in a dusty box at the comic book store.
