Camp Opemikon - Part 1

Back when I was a youngun, I went to a scouts camp named camp Opemikon near Perth for 1 or 2 weeks each summer. I can still recall the butterflies and anxiety I felt awaiting the bus that would transport me to camp. OMG camp Opi! I've been there! One of my co-workers' mother's actually runs the camp. And I do agree with the view of the sky. It is absolutely stunning!

Oh my. This sounds like a lot more fun that any camp I ever visited! Of course, I was in my late teens and merely stopping by to visit my ex-bf's family and not staying during the swing season in summer. We did, however, stay overnight in a well-stocked cabin ... in the priest's quarters, we found out later... but I dare admit that we did not necessarily uphold the sanctity of that space. :-p

I can't imagine having to submerge in a swamp.
