Yeah, that's another tricky bit. My training contract runs for another 9 months and I don't know what thereafter. If I get kept on then yup, we'll stay. If not, then there's no reason to be here, we may as well decamp back to the West Country. So we don't want to settle permanently here, but at the same time we need where we move to be somewhat futureproofed.

As I say, it's not the end of the world - we're in a 3 bed here, and with 4 of us + lots of family coming down to help out with the new baby, that's not ideal. There's plenty I can pick faults with in this place - it's more a question of timing than anything!

You could always move closer to London for job-hunting ;-)

A lot of PQ work advertised does seem to be in one or other London borough. But I'm guessing you don't fancy being in the big city now? Kent/Essex & commuter train?

It does indeed! Ah well, it's not negotiable, so we'll just have to find somewhere. At least we know the area now, and we're over here already, which should make the tast a lot easier than last time. Plus it will give us the chance to find somewhere more appropriate. It just would have been nice to do it in our terms!

(ouch) that's really not funny. Give us a shout if you need a hand during the move, Hitchen is dead easy (and quick) for me to get to.
