I do actually have a reason for having not posted over the past couple of weeks - I've been away on holiday. Ali, Jess and I decamped first down to Bath for a few days, and then on to a place near Bridgwater. Near, thankfully, not in. I'm feeling much better today than yesterday, thank god. I had a few drinks on Sunday night; not even that many, but Monday was just a horrible experience. Things are ticking along ok here. Home is fine; Ali and I have been taking it very easy. Bank holiday weekend was just what we needed - very low key. I found a beautiful nature reserve only a 1/2 mile or so from our house, which I went for a long run round. Life trundling on here. Ali and Jess have been away a lot over the past few weeks - firstly Ali was in Ireland, so Jess was with my folks for a week, then she was back and they were both over in Bath with her folks.
