I don't do anything on LJ but complain, but other people seem to be around posting fandom stuff here and on tumblr. *shrug*

I miss old LJ. Everyone was here and fandom happened here. I don't know what happened but it makes me really sad. Especially the spam comments I keep getting.

Fandom seems to be all Teen Wolf/Avengers/Sherlock/Hockey RPF/Homestuck these days.

None of which have any interest for me.

I have zero idea what it is, I just know the art is ugly as fuck.

I am told Homestuck has women? Avengers has some, but fandom is far more interested in white dudes fucking (really ugly ones, too)

I'm so sorry that things are difficult for you at the moment. I am sending positive thoughts to you and your grandfather.

I am reading stuff in various fandoms these days (some current, some not). My newest TV love is 'Arrow' (on CTV in Canada, I believe it's on Syfy in the U.S.). I'm also following 'True Blood' (I have read some good fanfic there) and 'Lost Girl' (Canadian show now on Syfy) despite the abysmal end to season 2 there. Movie-wise, I thought 'The Hobbit' was pretty neat. 'Continuum' is also pretty neat (=another Canadian show which I don't think has aired in the U.S. yet).

I've actually continued with my fanfiction recs page (=first on my lj page).

Here's hoping things get better for you soon. *hugs*

Arrow is on the CW here. I just looked it up. It sounds nifty. Superheroes are really popular now. I'm somewhat out of touch.
