Fandom suggestions, if you want 'em.
Orphan Black seems like a pretty chill fandom, though I'm not really in it so it's only what I've seen in discussions about the show. I think it's a small fandom, though. Many, many ladies with great and complicated relationships.
I very recently got into Once Upon a Time. It's a very flawed show that annoys me on the regular but there are many female characters and they actually get to interact (well, some of them do, anyway.) They also have some pretty complex and fascinating relationships. Especially Regina-Snow and Regina-Emma. But again, it's extremely flawed and gets as much wrong as it does right.
Person of Interest in another good bet. Lots of awesome ladies. The fandom seems more into the dudes, but a femslash pairing has started to become rather popular so there's that.
