Today, the weather over here is cloudy, just the way I love ^^ and it makes me want to spend a moment reading something good so I came here and I find this fic - I haven't read something for a while, you know? -, I certaintly downloaded the song (which is lovely) and start with the reading. Now I've finished, so it's time to say:
I really admire your style, the way you put the right words and how you can involve to the reader in your stories. I just love all the fic and I read it all as well, but I decided post a comment here because I fell in love with this part:
She giggled for the second time that night and kissed him before whispering, “I love your watch.”
“You know what? I love your couch.”
“I love you.”
“Took you long enough.”I mean, all the chapters and epilogue were amazing, but this part makes me feel something beautiful and I couldn't help it but smiled and I'm still smiling reading it. As I said before, you put the right words in each situation
( ... )
Aww, thank you so much! It really means a lot that you came and took the time to tell me that you liked it.
Hee! I particularly like that part too. I thought that since most of the fic were these serious conversations, I would slip a little banter in. I'm glad it made you smile :)
Thanks for the lovely words and I hope you enjoyed the song too!
Yay! Update! I loved it, as always Lori. This part was my favorite:
The guards were gone. Every protective barrier that she’d ever placed around her heart had finally come crashing down. Let the trumpets ring, the walls of Jericho have fallen.
For all her alleged brains it took Hermione long enough, and I was slightly flamboozled at how long it took this 'very smart' witch to work things out ... but you addressed that by stating that her brain refused to perform logically. But it was an attractive and original way that you had them get together. The idea of them spending the rest of the night just holding each other is lovely.
And I'll take a kiss born of this sort of epiphany over one springing from a quidditch game victory any day. :-)
I think the fact that she couldn't really rely on her brains for this situation is what made her take so long. I've always thought that Hermione, for all her genius, would be totally out of her depth when it came to things of an emotional nature. But then again that's just me ;)
Oh yeah...I definitely tried to stay faaaar away from Quidditch victory kisses on this one :)

And i loved this line here:
"Who was it that said a dream is an answer to question we haven't yet learned how to ask?"
Why, it was Mulder who said that. It's a nice reference. :D
