they are clearing some trees and bushes very near us. so close that if they clear them All (and there arent that many), we will no longer have the foresty, private feel to our yard on one side. im assuming this is all in preparation for the fast food restaurant that will eventually grace our corner

i sort of like the new martha show, at least the little i've seen of it. she seems like a real person for the first time!

i agree! its a little hooky sometimes but definitely more real.

i get a little nervous going out there in the morning,afraid of waking and getting a trampled by a deer,paranoid mornings. ah,forget those buggers working over there-we'll start sketching out wall of grape vines or some other fruitful bushes,creative separation.

i miss land so bad. i am saving NOW for some and i'm always looking for plots online. most of my childhood was lived in dirt and no baths for weeks and no neighbors that didn't take five minutes to get to and no pavement and not even chip n' seal! one time my dog got his ear bit by a deer. he looooved to chase this pack of them that were around and one of them got pretty sick of it and turned right on him and nipped his ear.
