Starting yet another week.
Thanks to a data loss issue last week, one that circumvented several safeguards against losing data (in large part because there were multiple safeguards in place) I'm at the same exact point I was in my work last week, only 2-3 weeks behind now instead of 1-2 weeks behind ( Read more... ) -

Hot Enough For You?
It's currently 83 degrees indoors. This is because we have a very needy air conditioning unit. Last year was the first year it didn't have to be serviced, which is good considering we paid beaucoop bucks last year to have the leaks in the system fixed. Intervention Time?
So yeah, I set a goal for myself to keep my browser tab usage at a reasonable level. Sadly, although I whined about Firefox being a bitch earlier, it's really a problem for any browser. Even something lightweight like Chrome. Too many pages with too much Flash and too much JavaScript (especially scripts that constantly poll for data)... pages with ( Read more... ) -
Clubhouse Treadmill Machismo
For the past week I've been taking it easy with the treadmill. Surprisingly, daily hard runs without a single day off for three plus months straight are hard on an overweight body. As a result I've taken a week off (or indefinitely, haven't decided) running to focus on weight lifting.
