Man, if all of the charming comments from the Comic-Con panel weren't enough, this little casting call gem that dovil dug up just about clinches it:
I am only going to be watching Stargate Universe for the potential lulz, and the ability to scream "LAWSUITE!" when I get a concussion from excessive facepalming. I mean... I just... WORDS FAIL ME. There's stupidity, and then there's wearing horse blinders. THEY CANCELLED MY SHOW FOR THIS CRAP?
I don't care if it's unfair, I'm beginning to judge everyone involved in this project, including John Scalzi as creative consultant for not calling them on this crap. SERIOUS FAIL.
Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way... maybe I should be grateful they cancelled Atlantis instead of foisting this kind of writing decisions on it. Yes, thank you, Brad Wright. I have seen the light. It burns.
