I know I still owe two of you an answer on the meme (Sorry! The reasons why are for another post altogether), but I couldn't not share this. Why? Because it's Friday, and I want to go home, damn it
( Read more... )
That song is, erm, yeah, it's... about Friday. Which is after Thursday and before Sat and Sun. In case you don't know!!
Also, thanks soooo much for reminding me of that other vid!! Looking at my comments, I didn't press the play button. I like my ears and hearing too much!!! So yes, more annoying than the Friday song!
The last thing? WTF indeed!!! I hope my government doesn't see it and think, "oh, cool idea"! Of course, they may have already done something like this for all I know!!
It's nice to have a reference point for what true awfulness can be. Although I do think "Friday" wins the Inanity Award for describing her entire morning routine. "Which seat should I choose?" :O
The last thing I'm still just like "..." on. I always suspected the US Government of trolling stateside IRL, but the fact that they're doing it overseas? XD
Inorite? Maybe everyone's just a glutton for punishment?
From what I've read, she is thirteen. But that doesn't surprise me much, seeing my little sister's make-up from that age, it's fairly normal, especially in the more superficial areas of the country, like California and South Florida. (Or any rich neighborhood.)

Why would she have to choose between the front seat and the back seat? It's obvious the only place she CAN sit is in the back seat. Unless she makes one of her friends move, and then geez, what a jerk.
Also, aren't they all like seventh graders? I want to see the license of that kid driving. Like maybe he stole his big brother's car and it's really not safe for him to be going that fast in a convertible.
This video is reminiscent of the Robin Sparkles video. Like, it doesn't make me want to go to the mall (today) but it does make me want to stab my eyes out x.x; Also my computer wouldn't load it at first. I think that's a sign XD
Re: my thoughts:greyiasMarch 21 2011, 16:38:09 UTC
It's such a DECISION! If she sits in the front seat, then she can stick her feet out the window as she leans back and jives, but in the back seat she can stand up and be a road hazard! How can anyone make her choose? It's just NOT FAIR.
And yes, the driver still cracks me up XD I'm also trying and failing not to laugh at all the braces, because, hello pot/kettle?
Your computer was just trying its hand at self-preservation.

Maybe she can just squat over the console. That way she's in the front seat AND the back seat! :D (and if someone accelerates too quickly she might roll off onto the freeway)
Oh, no no no, my fine friend, you'll not snooker me again! I will not fall for your trickery this time! Fool me once, etc.
... unless this is somehow something I know? Maybe? Perhaps I should follow that Wikipedia link and find out. Or, hell, maybe just get a glimpse of the video itself ... it can't be that bad, surely ...
...
DAMN YOU, GREY!
That was ... really quite impressively inane. The lyrics are just as profound as I would expect from your prototypical middle schooler; that doesn't mean anyone wants to hear them set to music, people! Or even "music".
Also, I'm not even epileptic, and I say that video needs a seizure-trigger warning (for the bit that drops that wisdom of the ages, "Saturday comes afterwards", upon us).
As for the sockpuppet article ... SSDD. Domestic propaganda one day, sockpuppeting foreign articles the next. Wish I could say I was surprised. At all
( ... )
Auto-tuuuuuune! The inanity of the lyrics really is impressive. I think the first time I had to stop, and pause, was the debate over which seat she should sit in on the way to school. (After going to the bus stop? Did we switch stories suddenly? Did she finish her cereal? Kid needs to finish a storyline!)

I was actually kind of wondering that, because the "page flipping" effect they're trying to go for there is not only not well done, but, yeahhh...
Kelly had some doubts over the quality of the lyrics, but was told by Black that "I sang it as they wrote it, Mom."
Oh god, they updated the article since I last read it! That part wasn't in there before, I swear XD

I thought I read Rebecca Black is 13 years old. This is thirteen? I need more make-up.
