I have a tad bit of an unhealthy love for the interaction between these two characters *g* Glad you enjoyed it!

I love Rodney's rambling, delirious POV, and the scene with the pudding at the end was sweet in a very John and Rodney way. :D

John will never look at pudding the same again *g*

Hooray! You give such good addled!Rodney. (He so totally would be all over disarming nuclear oblivion and taking names.) Pitying the fool and knowing Sheppard would scream like a girl at spiders, the helpfulness of the doctor being alive to the convenience of scheduling medical appointments (sniff!), Sheppard's sketchy land navigation, crude canine metaphors, the question even Rodney doesn't want answered, snarking and protecting and mutual saving (Rodney saving John from dying from breaking-his-promise-to-save-Rodney if he dies ... wow), frisky weapon-borrowing, torture most dread and dire (i.e. hand-licking), absent brain-mouth filters, the intrusive sock-clad feet of home, the pudding of introspection, the way they're both such children sometimes, the fact that the best conversation these two can have is not saying anything ... just ... yay!

Also, ever since I read this at lunchtime, I've had "Bill Cosby?" popping into my head at random moments, and it's made me giggle every time.

psst: ad nauseam

I should probably be worried by how much I channel a mentally unhinged Rodney *g*

frisky weapon-borrowing

To this day, John insists that it was dark.

(Rodney saving John from dying from breaking-his-promise-to-save-Rodney if he dies ... wow)

Yeah, it's probably best to try and not look directly into the the Heart of the TARDIS tangled logic... not everyone comes back whole.

Also, ever since I read this at lunchtime, I've had "Bill Cosby?" popping into my head at random moments, and it's made me giggle every time.

BWAH! XD I think that makes my day!

psst: ad nauseam

Psst back: Thank you! *quietly goes to fix in other stories as well*

This was amazing. The banter was so right. Love the theme of John doesn't lie and John keeps his promises. Rodney saves John so that John can save Rodney.

Their friendship really shines thru in your fic. I love that Rodney is relieved to hear Ronan snore because that means everyone made it home safely.

Aww, thank you! :) I've got a soft spot about a mile wide for their friendship, so I'm glad it comes through.
