For a while now, I've been following the travels and spiritual journey of Drew Jacob, also known as the Rogue Priest. I don't agree with everything he says, but a lot of what he believes, does and struggles with strikes chords with me. (We're priests of the same god, for one thing.) After some hard thought over the past year (and some time prior to that, frankly), I've concluded that I'm not interested in being part of a movement. I'm not interested in advocating for a Pagan organization or church. I'm not interested in practicing all that publicly, aside from the occasional event. The problem with any institution is that it eventually becomes primarily concerned with perpetuating itself. I am interested in practicing my craft, learning through experimentation, and working with other people who are interested in similar things. That, in a nutshell, is the guiding principle behind Wild Gods
