Check out this video of an iaido master cutting a speeding "bullet" in half with his katana. Yeah, it's not a bullet, it's a plastic bb, but you try it.

I think this spot comes from Stan Lee's Superhuman TV series; the narrator is the host of that show. As the "scientific expert" with him says, this is perception on a level beyond normal human

Jesse used to describe this sort of thing as a neuromuscular reaction born of long training. The stimulus doesn't go all the way to your brain before your body reacts.

I've only accomplished something like this twice, neither nearly as impressive: I once caught a knife spinning across a table (by the handle), and another time grabbed a glass out of the air when it fell off a shelf at J's shop.
