So in love with this little fic! I was having a lousy day, and this cheered me up completely! Zozo and Bailey are adorable. The image of Zola watching Mer put makeup on, and then Meredith putting lipstick on her is so sweet, and something I'd love to see on Grey's. And I melted to goo even more at Bailey in his race car pajamas sucking on Mer's finger. Mommy Meredith really is my favorite version. :'')

Even if it got interrupted by Bailey's teething woes, it was great seeing them having a date night, since after nine seasons, Shonda has yet to give us something to simple. Besides, cuddling on the porch with their leftovers is much more 'them' anyway. Derek gets gold stars for that. Although, I'm sure Meredith showed him her gratitude multiple times that night. Hehe.

Thank you sharing this little fic about our favorite family! I'm already excited for season 10, so this was perfect.

Sorry to hear you were having a bad day, but I'm glad this cheered you up! Mommy Meredith is my favorite version too.

I agree, I think this version of date night is closer to what they'd actually like to do and yes, I'm sure Meredith expressed her thanks in all his favorite ways afterward.

Oh! Wait? What? You are still writing MerDer? And it's still as awesome as it ever was? What an amazing surprise! :D I have been in a spiral the past few days and thought, hmm, I wonder if GreyMcDreamySGH is still on LJ and you are and you are still writing!

I love this. You still have a knack for their characters and I think you wrote April pretty well too. Love the bits with the babies, especially Zola. You always write the stories I most want to read. :D

Talk about amazing surprises, this lovely comment was so unexpected and welcome! Thank you! It made my day. As you can see, I haven't been writing MerDer for awhile. I had started a fic last year ("Now is the Start") but real life got incredibly busy and, honestly, the real show left me feeling so uninspired last season that I pretty much abandoned it. They are still my OTP and I suppose I'll always watch, but I'm really hoping they can rediscover some of that magic in S11. I felt like S10 was pretty rough for MD.

Anyway, seriously, thank you so much for this! It truly made me smile, and I can't thank you enough for reading :)
