A Poor Friend

Well, I've been a poor LJ friend this winter, and oh boy has it ever been winter. We've had the most snow on record this season with 235 inches (beats 2002/03 which was 233 1/2 inches). I've been stuck in the driveway plowing snow three times. Once needed the road grader to get me out. Fought with an oak tree once and lost. Yep fun for sure!

Don't let anyone tell you the senior years are the "golden" years. They're ok, but full of a lot of crappy stuff too... Oh yeah.. know whatcha yer saying Tom.

lot's happening at your hourse - cool.

we aren't even getting any lookers at our house and dropped the price significantly from last year. If it were $1M+ it would sell, but it's a low end. Maybe someone will buy it as a tear down.

Our price is on the high side to start with but we didn't want to give it away either. I only listed with the guy for 3 months so come July 1st. I might take a crack at selling it myself and save $20,000 commission.

I'm starting to think of this Cougar 5th wheel.. http://keystone-cougar.com/index.php?page=floorplans&coast=west&model=318SABWE ..for myself and head down to Texas this fall. Like you I gave my retirement notice for Aug. 1st. so I will officially become a bum then I guess.

Our dollar just came on par with yours so it looks like I'll buy the truck and 5th state side cause your prices are about 30% less than here even if I want new.

Where are you now? East coast still or West coast.
I live in the frick'n Great White North and we've had very little snow this year. You stole it all and I want it back! Yah, I'm one of the few that like's it.

Yea, snow has sucked this year (and we only got a fraction of what you had to deal with) What I hate is, we have not had ONE day of teaser temps since November.

as for being Marginal....come on Tom! I know you can do better than that! hehehehe

Nice to see you my friend. Yes it has been a snowy mess hasn't it. Never thought I would miss going to work!!

Congrats on new baby. I am so enjoying my Jaxxon.. He is perfect of course.

Mom has been in and out of the hospital ALOT so Denise and I are going to invest in a used ambulance..(just kidding).

I fell Friday night after I got home from the hospital. It was after midnight been up all day at the hospital so as soon as I got home I took the dog out walked up the road and the next thing I knew I was on the road on one knee. Thought I would die there!! The dog took off and when he realized I was on the ground he happily came back and jumped on me.

Hope you and Katie aren't shoveling too much..just build a fire and open some wine. Take Care!
