Friday night geeking.

It's been a long time since I did any proper geeking on Friday night. So I thought I would redress the balance today. A couple of weeks ago I thought that I should learn some Windows programming, so I downloaded Visual C++ 2005 Express from Microsoft (for free :-) ), and wxWidgets (for free), and I made this:

Does gnuserv/gnuclient work on Windows? Maybe you can configure VC++ to use that as an external editor.

But unfotunately then you lose intellisense, so it's a bit of a case of which is more useful, emacs or intellisense. The jury is still out, but I think the debugging and other features of the integrated editor are winning at the moment.
