I really adored the first film, and am probably the most forgiving person for Hollywood idiocy out of everyone I know, and I thought Transformers 2 was the most offensive and ham-fisted cock-up of a big budget movie sequel since Batman & Robin - and I'm pretty sure I prefer Batman & Robin.

Here was what i took from the movie:
The Autobots are hunting down and killing Decepticons who just want energon to feed their babies.

Yes I find it amusing that Optimus is apparently a Jew yet is genociding the Decepticons.
