All of this is for footnotes in my paper, which is about blackness on GA.
I'm trying to make an argument that they have assimilated Callie into the white world of Seattle Grace Hospital and that the show rarely addresses or incorporates her ethnicity into the show. I also get to write a long footnote about how her sexuality has been addressed more than ethnicity starting when she was the "hot Latina" stereotype with George.
Cuba? Interesting. That will be a fun footnote about how they have mentioned it but off-screen.
They said that she's from Cuba in a set tour a few years ago, if that helps? That doesn't mean that they haven't said something totally different elsewhere, though...
