This is exactly how I feel about April. It would absolutely be a legit reason if she'd ever mentioned it before. Or if, you know, she didn't keep sleeping with him and then whining about how much a mistake it was. It is a little bit sickening how little self control she has. I liked that Avery kept leaving, and that he got annoyed, but I feel like he got over it too quickly. I did like his scenes with the chief.
I'm so glad Cristina is back, but I'm afraid of what's going to happen with the lawsuit.
I'm surprised that she isn't spending more (on-air) time on board prep - I mean she's been fired from Seattle Grace twice and failed her boards, a little stress/self-doubt over that would be natural. Coupled with the feelings she's developing for Jackson, I think it would make so much more sense as to why she keeps sleeping with him.
I hate the Avery/April story line. Why does he keep sleeping with her? I mean, I get being horny and whatnot, but at one point he should say that either she's ok with it or it's over. I don't think I could deal with being in a relationship of sorts with someone who feels so conflicted/guilty/bad about it/me.
um I didn't hate izzie, or george, and I'm pretty sure there are others out there who agree with me.
I think it's ridiculous that they are going to sue the place they currently work for, doesn't that seem like a giant conflict? If the hospital has to pay out a big settlement to them, they will have to cut corners, in places like salary, and whose salary are they going to look at cutting first? Probably the people who just got the big settlement.
I was so, so happy to see arizona back in the hospital, where she needs to be. Thank god for bailey, who knew how to get her there.
I would not presume to speak for all Grey's anatomy watchers. Perhaps I should have used a semi-colon after "hated you" to separate those components. I was referring to what Meredith said to Alex - that they had the party with the flame shots and the large X-mas tree before they became friends, "when [they] all hated him."
It's a massive conflict. If I recall correctly, Seattle Grace Mercy West is already the result of having to cut corners - at this point, they'd have to have either mass layoffs or significantly reduced services and reduced salaries. No random CTs for Santas with migraines and incessant vomiting. No voluntary $100,000 surgeries. Could they even keep open the free-clinic? I thought people technically volunteered their time there.
If they went through with it (which I doubt and would be surprised to see), the practical way to go would be to leave - working for a place that you sued is probably not going to foster a positive work environment, regardless of whether you win.
ah, ok I gotcha... I was a little confused because while I know there is izzie hate out there, I thought george was pretty beloved...
yeah I mean, the whole reason they had to combine hospitals was to save money - though I would imagine some of the money would come from insurance on the hospital, or maybe all of it, but then their insurance premiums would go thru the roof.
A piece of me will be tickled if they had this cliff hanger, allow 2 weeks of fan speculation to go by, and then have the first scene of the next episode be just everyone saying "Nope, not gonna happen." Just deflate that tension bubble immediately as if it wasn't even important.
I liked both George and Izzie (not as a couple though). I still get sad about George when I hear "Off I Go." I will admit that Izzie was my least favorite of the fab 5, but only because her character tended on self-righteous too much for me.
Derek was an adult about his hand? I thought the "I thought you could do it" was classic Derek douchery.
And I want all the screen time for NuLexie given to Bailey. Instead of a real storyline Bailey again is back to guidance counselor mode in which she is on the periphery. Yes she helped get Arizona back to the hospital. However, she had less screen time than NuLexie and her big speeches to Owen and Alex. I'm also sad because I think they are going to pair her up with Alex.
I did like the Cristina stuff with the interns because it showed how much she learned from Dr. Thomas/Feeney.

In any case, I don't like! Not one bit!

And Alex and Cristina as roommates? I LOVE it!

All in all, I thought it was a good episode, but a little too over stuffed with story.
