We joined the YMCA yesterday, and I already am really excited about it! They have some terrific family programs, so I'm looking forward to having some place to go when we're bored and not sure what to do with ourselves. The facility is new, and is just fantastic. It's a bit spendy, but I think that is going to encourage us to go regularly. The

And I don't know about your neck of the woods, but down here, the Y was a big sponsor of kid sports [at least in the age range of 5-10]. And being a member gets you a discounted entry fee.
