Hey all! I'm making this LJ 'cause I figure if I keep myself accountable to people, it'll help me meet my long-term and short-term goals in my struggle against my weight. I'm going to list my vitals behind an LJ-Cut, so's not to bore you, or frighten you with ugly pictures. ;)







My name is Roman. I'm 5'7" tall, and according to the digital scale we have I currently weigh 179 lbs.

Several years ago, I weighed 210 lbs. I was a heavy boy. I finally got in the mindset to do something about it and, over the course of half a year or so, brought my weight down to 170 lbs. Kept it off for a good year, then I started to slip. My weight slowly crept back up to 185, and there it hovered for a good long time. Even though I was 30 lbs lighter than I used to be, I was still unhappy with myself. I don't like the stomach I have. I don't like the baggage I carry on my chest. And I will change that.

My goal is, through lifestyle and diet change, to bring my weight down to 160 lbs and keep it there. I'm going to ask you, my friends, to help me out with this. Words of encouragement are always appreciated. Tips and tricks are, as well. As the days and months go by, I'll be posting more about what I'm going to be doing to get my weight down. Who knows, maybe there are some of you who want to join me on this? Let me know!
