I feel like if you have a good enough eye to conclusively tell where you're going to be in ten strides, you also have a good enough eye to do something about it. Or at least a good enough brain to sit chilly and wait for or find a better option.

I know right?!

If you are 10.4 strides out you may be able somewhere in the remaining 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 take a little off the step for 11 or add a wee squeeze to catch up with that 0.4.

I feel like this is one of those times when someone who doesn't actually ride at all posts some alleged level of competence (oh, sigh. Completely missed TEN OUT, don't you just hate that) that reveals, when practically considered by people who actually ride, that all is not as they would like us to believe.

But I do love all the COTHers who are like oh sniff sniff that's beautiful quick lemme post on fb.

Omg! Somebody brought up Jesus Take the Wheel!!

I am so saving this for my next jump lesson so when the trainer is like "WTF????" I can just shrug and say, "I don't know man. We were 27.7 strides out so I just said fuck it and let Jesus take the wheel."

Yeeeeeah, that song. I understand the intended message, but maybe Jesus would like you to not drive like an idiot in the first place.
