That's crazy they don't let you cook fish! Do they forcibly stop you from doing it or are they just verbally preventing you? You should order some baluts and eat them in front of those vegetarians. If they try to say anything play the race card..ha!

Hey, I love the environment but that's no reason to give up cleanliness. And prettyness. (My lab tutor told me once, "You can't be pretty working in science, you should reconsider majoring in this." I'm like, I don't see why I can't wear my Miu Miu shoes in the lab if I want to! Granted, acid spilling on it is 0.o;; but I'll risk it!)

Anyway. I want to do evolutionary biology too but it's not offered in this country hahahaha.

i was at moe's the other day and i saw this book. i forget the title, but the premise is that the author is a former vegan, who after extensive research (?) discovers that being vegetarian isn't necessarily better for the environment at all! i think the book might be called "the vegetarian myth" or something like that.

if i find out more specifically, ill let you know :)

fish is ecologically sound if its like farmed or whatever.

I love the distinction. Also, I think it puts me firmly in the evolutionary biologist camp. And very glad my roommate last year was a flexible, non-proselytizing vegetarian.
