ugh, have been a terrible grad student as of the past week or so. been lazy and procrastinating crazily. in addition, for four out of the past five nights, I've gone out for a drink with friends. -_______-; to think that, prior to moving here, I was worried about not having anyone with whom to hang out and instead turning into a study turtle.

welcome to grad school! the see-saw of going out a lot and feeling guilty about it, and then working really hard out of guilt. well not really a see-saw. you just feel guilty all the time.

All right, shall I book you for a two night stay from the 14th to 15th then?

You can ride the 10 bus from my apartment to Union Station and take the Amtrak down. Or you can take the 1 bus to UCLA and then take the Flyaway Bus to LAX and then another Fly Away bus to Irvine. (I think train is cheaper, though.)
