Oddly enough...

...I might just be emo. I turned to the Emo station on the aol radio just out of curiosity, and most the songs and bands are the ones I like on the new rock station I usually listen to. Are there any more qualifiers to being emo?

I broke your emotionlessness.
I'm sorry, Victor.
:(
Go to middle of ocean somewhere surrounded by sharks. Check the 4th deck of the hangar crew. I'm sorry.

XD

No, I'm still just as emotionally detached as ever. It's just strange that my taste in music suddenly falls into a category I never considered before.

Fauxhawks (swoops are better I think), and crying a lot (or screaming).

But emo means emotional, Victor. How can you be emotional and emotionally detached at the same time?

Minus one logic point.

Maybe your emotional detachment is an example of reaction formation. Deep down you are very emotional and hide this by being stoic. Only now are you beginning to reveal your inner self. Now, and last year when you admitted your feelings about romantic comedies.

Plus one for me.

Well, you can either take a point from me or gain a point for yourself because your 2 points contradict each other. Either I'm secretly emotional therefore qualifying me as emo or I'm emotionally detached and not one.
I'm afraid you lose a point no matter what for trying to do both and contradicting yourself. This means -1 me and -1 you or +0 you.

I doubt i'm emotional deep down. It's the fact that my detachment from them lets me understand them objectively. This often makes me too logical about everything.

Minus one for you for your poor reasoning alone. Plus a point for me for referring to psychological theory (and theory only). Minus another logic point for you for suggesting I was wrong. If you are even thinking about trying to attack my ideas again, minus another point. I'm winning. Neat.

Oh yeah, and you need girl pants.

Clearly the point system isn't working anymore when they are distributed so freely. Logic has to be objective reasoning. You can't say minus a point for disagreeing with my opinion.

WTF are girl pants?

Such language. It's part of being emo.

I getting frustrated because people are taking this post way too seriously. I meant it to be a funny commentary on the classification of any music genre as emotional being absurd since the basis of almost all music is emotional. The idea of me being emotional was supposed to be funny to the people that know me, but apparently nobody knows me well enough to see the comedy in that.
