Dear Intarwebs

I spend my days mostly in bed. After the first 12 months, this gets boring, so I need things to do. You, dear intarwebs, have videos to watch (some of them entertaining) and funny websites to read to raise the spirits. In theory. However, that whole "funny" thing really works best for me if there is an ABSENCE of sexist, weight-ist and racist ( Read more... )

*hugs* Love and light to both of you. And yes, there are so many uneducated mindless bigots out there... but then there is the cadre of folks like you and I and all of our friends who at least balance out all of that negative crap with our awesomeness.

I think my favorite flash mob was zombies last halloween. They showed up at Union Square and started "eating" people. They even ate a guy dressed as a banana, and as they were swarming all over him and he was screaming dramatically, someone in the mob shouted "POTASSIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!" It was fantastic, and brings me joy to this day. ^_^;

...not the same as dancing, but still hilarious...

Well...I'm not sure how helpful this is, but if you haven't heard I'm dropping by to visit next week as it's spring break. Being me I may have, perhaps organized a folder on my hard drive under your name (the subsections are: funny, happy, sweet, beautiful and thinky). I have intentionally weeded out anything that seems sad or dark or the like (thinky does include thinky things but they are happy and thinky). So, er... and other than fanvids this may also include a three minute video of a cat sticking it's head under the faucet because really the strangest things can make one less stressed. It's a cat! With a faucet! ...I'm not sure how it got on my computer as I didn't download it (I blame Jenny Vekert, she does these things). But, if for some reason you wanted a cat and a faucet you can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KswnjMa-MQ... )
