So that was a fun Super Bowl to watch. I actually liked both teams, but was cheering for the Colts because I went to college in Indiana for four years and they ended up as my second favorite team. So it was really awesome to see them win it just a year after my favorite team did

There is no good excuse. It is just bad journalism. And it's the second time they've done it. Quotes attributing the Colt's success to God in the AFC championship game were screwed up too. I don't know why the print media is afraid to mention the whole God thing.
