A good weekend, with one exception

Despite what I said yesterday, some cleaning did get done, and there was some yummy cooking performed by both of us. We both enjoyed our respective games, though rainbow_slinky has been trying to convince me that getting my own DS would be good so then we could game together. Which is apopealing, but I need to convince myself that getting another game system in

hmmm, funny americans.

I know last time I was at Walmart buying a game for my sister and her boyfriend they had a notice on the wall that said they couldn't refund opened games, movies or music unless it was defective......Apparently they have a policy of offereing return three times, if it's still defective then they offer the refund.

I can understand that for software- someone could install it on their computer or even make a copy of the CDs. But this was a hardware cartridge. There are ways to create an image of a cartridge, but they are involved and require special hardware and software. And if you have the time and money to get that, odds are you aren't going to be too upset about $20 to buy the game. And if you are, you will get a rental membership and rent the games overnight for a couple of bucks.
