I got a plank of wood (which happened to be the exact size I needed already) and hardware from Home Depot for something like $10.
It was sort of a pain to attach, but only because I had already assembled the desk and didn't want to take it apart .. so I had to lie on my back underneath it to drill the holes and screw them in, which was a little awkward. But not too bad, probably took less than an hour all told.
Do you have a Jerker too? Gotta love the modular desk!
Very nice; our place has two Jerkers in it as well right now... actually, our setup looks very similar, with a Keystation Pro 88, Mackie 16 channel, Korg MicroKontrol, Event TR-8s and JBL somethingorothers (they're Lone's), and a Virus TI... we're running Logic and not Cubase, though. =.)
Oh, are you serious? It looks a lot like Cubase SX... I guess it's come a long way in the four years since I last used it. =.3
But yeah, I should post pictures... problem is, as soon as our studio is set up even reasonably well, we're going to have to take it down to move again in March... kinda kills the motivation to get everything "just so."

So did you just use shelving hardware or what? I definitely want a keyboard try for my Jerker...!

Heh, my setup should be even more similar to yours now actually, cause I just got a 14-channel Mackie (the 1202 in the picture is busted).
Oh, and that's not Cubase, it's Buzz, dammit!
