Feeling secure

When a baby is upset, tired, or just doesn't feel good, Mama's arms can make him feel better. Mama can scoop him up, swaddle, cuddle, rock, and sing to him. While he might not calm right away, he can still have a sense of security. Mama is supposed to be able to make everything better. Unfortunately, we can't always do that.

I am so sorry that you and your little guy have been going through so much. I am glad that you have a doctor that you can rely on (and that listens) to help him get through.

Wish that we lived closer so we could help each other out in person. It helps to have someone to vent to online though. As you have said to me (even today) prayer, prayer, and more prayer. My prayer for you is that YOU get some rest, and your little guy will get some relief from all that he is going through. IM or tweet me if you need to vent.

Love,
Alli

Oh Lena. I wish there was more than just virtual hugs I could offer you. I know that while there isn't, and they are comforting, it's just not enough. I'm glad you are writing this down though. Both for you to get it out and to help you later when looking back. Don't feel like you'd be bothering any of us if you write a recap of how the day went. Maybe just how his behavior is and what was done so you have it all in one place.

I know I've been thankful when I did that with Urchin way back when.

Oh Lena I am so sorry to hear this! He is too young to be going through something so awful. And I feel for you and the family! Many prayers for this to be sorted out so you all can have some peace!
