After stalking Melissa on here for a bit last night, I took a look at a community called postsecret. I love it. Some of the posts are definitely 14 year old girls going through heartache...God, do I remember those days. But some of them are very insightful. I like it.

I need to find a second job. ( Read more... )

I'm the same, what I earn is a "decent" income but I'm so used to blowing money on clothes and cigarettes and luxuries that I usually have zero dollars at the end of the pay cycle... sigh...I know if I quit spending money on so much coffee, smokes and other rubbish I could be quite comfortable but it's hard switching from one lifestyle to another just like that. I guess the moral of the story is if I ever have any kids I won't allow them to be as spoiled as me :/ Anyway, I hope you get through the week okay.

I used to do that, too. Feeling crappy? Buy some clothes! That's probably why I have 2 overflowing closets. Those were the days, I tell ya!!! I haven't gotten anything for myself in forever...and I HATE not having money of my own. Rex just brought up me getting a job, that he'd watch the baby after he gets done with work. I mean, I'd do it...shit, just to get out...but I have a hard time taking him seriously. He's been alone with the monkey TWICE ever. And one of those times, when I got home, Rex was asleep and Grandma had the baby. So, I don't really know how well that would work.

You know, in my looking for babysitting jobs, I noticed a lot of people saying that they were looking for babysitting jobs and that they had a child themselves. You could do something like that, maybe. Find a babysitting job where you can bring the little monkey along with you. Then you make some extra cash and at the same time, don't have to worry about finding someone to watch the baby. Check out craigslist.com...They've got a lot of job postings on there.
