I ordered a 5.1 70 watt surround sound speaker system for my computer today, along with a 19" LCD monitor... i cant wait to be able to see what i'm typing, and listen to music without the cheap speakers buzzing (or with headphones on)... i wonder how the basso profundos singing chesnokov pannychida sound with a big ole subwoofer!! :) dont ( Read more... )

Another update. Eating my Quizno's sub for lunch at work.. dont know why i got quiznos, i usually dont go there, but it looked interesting. a 'cabo chicken'... it's ok. and a diet coke with lime, of course.. Well, it's sunday night/monday morning, and perhaps a bit too much diet coke, and i'm still awake :) tonight's service went well. We did the burial service for Uspenie. Here is friday, and another jam packed weekend. The weekends are the busiest time for me. I wanted to have more of my octeochos projoct done, but I dont think i will have time, especially with a trip to sandusky tomorrow. I will work on the front steps for a little while this morning. Well, almost 3 hours since my last entry. I've just been surfin around, wasting time. Listening to some music.. trying to pick up some ideas for performance of a few peices. Busy day tomorrow.

I was talking quite a bit of popular music at work today... popular music is well overdue for a 'grunge revolution'. I remember how in the late 80s/early 90s hair metal was becoming a total joke. not even music anymore, just a total marketing sellout (ie. every 'metal band' released a power ballad). seems like there is not more substance to ( Read more... )

Another 'quick' update. Maybe. Worked on a lot of music this morning. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.
