Well, it's been a while since I posted...Nothing really felt newsworthy after the mention of Ivan...They had a memorial service, a rosary, and a burial...I dind't go to any of them, because I would've felt out of place. I found out this afternoon that a guy I know was killed Thursday night. His name is Ivan, and he worked with me. He was a really nice guy but, unfortunately, he was also a low-income hispanic man from Albuquerque and, as is common for people like him, he got caught up in crime, and drugs, and whatnot ( Read more... )

So it occurred to me yesterday that it didn't make much sense to work doubles on the weekend that went into graveyard if I'm going to be up in the wee hours of the morning during the week. So, I'm not technically registered for school yet, (Can't do that until a week from yesterday) but I know what I'm taking this summer, and when I'm taking it. Basically, I told work that my entire day would be filled on Monday-Thursday...I have a lecture from 1-2, essentially, each day during the week, and my lab is 8-12, Tuesday and Thursday.
