i wonder if anti-depressants and alcohol don't mix well... i hope that you can help him, but i'm not sure things will go smoothly, so be prepared. if necessary, you can join my evil club. [sigh] i'm glad you enjoyed your time with your other friend. it's nice to find someone who has a similar dilemma, especially on this scale.
you. please don't worry. we will figure something out. i don't think anything will happen before july (am sorry, but that's just my schedule), but something will happen in july. don't rearrange your summer plans for me. i will work with what you have. that allergies will be fine. i can deal with them. honestly, i don't think that this summer will be easy no matter what we do, so i guess i need to make that best of what i have.
I've been telling people this combination is bad, but there are only one or two that seem the least bit worried. It will definitely not go smoothly.
We will figure something out, I know, I just wish it were different. I can't rearrange my plans, however much it might help. It won't be easy, but I've been trying to figure out some way to lighten it a tidge, and I can't. Sorry about this, my brain just isn't working properly.
Well, actually it depends on what kind of anti-depressants he's taking and what kind of alcohol he's drinking. Alcohol can make some anti-depressants ineffective and can make others too effective (which leads to central nervous system depression). If he's on a certain kind of anti-depressant called an "M.A.O. inhibitor" and he's drinking alcohol with the chemical tyramine in it, it can actually lead to a rather dangerous increase in blood pressure because it will release too much of the neurotransmitters that run the sympathetic nervous system.
In general however, it's safe to say you shouldn't mix these things together very often.
