I was driving home from Raleigh this weekend and I came across something on the side of the road out in the country. This is the front yard of a rather large family home, otherwise normal in appearance. I can only assume it was a warning to any who might do them harm.

Maybe they're going to eat it later and strung it up so no animal would eat it.

If only I believed crows understood death and logic I would think that was indeed for them. Then again, considering the slack jawed yokels we have around here I guess it isn't that surprising.
