I haven't felt compelled by anything in my life to write in my journal lately.

That was before I saw the season finale of Dexter just now.

It was nice knowing you all. By the time you read this, I'll be dead. Probably in a bathtub somewhere.

OMG I KNOW I DIED. What a kick-ass ending. My jaw was on the floor for a full minute and I was so shaken and upset...but then I was just totally impressed that they had the balls to do that. Although they sort of had to because fans were starting to get annoyed with the whole Dexter's perfect family getup, and missing the creepy Dexter in his apartment deal. I LOVE the irony that his thirst for vengeance over his mom's death cost him this...it just made everything worse. AND, if he'd let the police handle it instead of intentionally throwing them off so that he could do it himself, he wouldn't have lost SEVERAL lives that he did. Now his thirst for vengeance is just going to get worse!
