I was raped at the age of 8 by a group of older boys, one of whom beat me when I refused to go back to his home after the event took place. There is absolutely nothing I personally could have done to prevent the attack.

What should have been done prior to this was that the parents of the boys should have discussed healthy sexual relations with them
