Six Christmas Giant Socks

A. Phone, unfiltered. Morning.

Some might have noticed this already, but I am returned to Mayfield a week or so after the events that shook the town in ways that go beyond the literal. Should I assume that everybody remains the same? Or have we lost new members of this fine society on the cruel grasp of droning?

I certainly hope we haven't.

You're a strange kid. I'll take a box, I guess.

Normality is but an illusion created to please the weak of mind. A place like this should make that clear.

A, but action. Also I somehow did not have you friend added. /faaaaaaail pinkscarflady December 13 2011, 01:07:39 UTC
Ah, I was wondering when you'd see fit to grace us with your presence again.

[Translation: I was really worried about you being droned for so long.]

Although I must admit that you look positively adorable in a girl scout uniform.

[Rose is going to make an effort just for you Mom, and pretend you didn't mention her on her current attire.]

When the droning is permanent, the subject also loses whatever they had regained over their time on Mayfield. I have just recovered a number of clothes from back home; make sure to heck that next time I'm gone.

Have I missed anything?

Best Mom ever.... pinkscarflady December 14 2011, 04:26:12 UTC
Good to know. I suppose the whole town will know if I should happen to leave.

[fyi, Mom has recently gotten back her observatory, which has been added as an extra story to their house.]

Nothing particularly exciting. Although you may be interested to know that there's been an ongoing discussion of potential decorating motifs for the house.

[Wizards and harlequins. They have the best taste.]

[Well, that's a new one. Cool.]

The less I know, the less I will suffer when the unavoidable comes.

Whatever I would do without you, Strider?

It's not a four man's band without four members after all.

...Have you heard about John?

I can hardly imagine how that would go. All in all it might help me to come with the darkest and most thoroughly unsettling verses ever made.

I suppose it wouldn't be right if he was exempted of being suddenly thrown a to a familiar setting without any memories of such. I don't think there is much to worry about what he forgot though.

I'm here! For the first time I can remember, but apparently not the first time ever?

Anyway it's awesome to hear from you Rose! Where are you living?

John! [Whoops too much emotion.] No, this seems to be the case for the four of us as well, but in the end we keep coming back, with or without previous memories.

I'm currently residing at 311 Miller Street, with both your father and my mother. It's been...interesting.

Oh man, you're living with my dad? So I guess that makes you my fake sister. Except, he's my real dad, so maybe not? Except wait, he's not really my biological dad either...

This shit is so confusing!

John, do try not to give yourself a headache over simplicities as such. Wasn't that Jade anyway? Whatever the town has decided to set as my last name matters little to us, all in all.

You are welcomed to pass by and help them with the decorations, for I'll surely try and avert my sight from whatever wizardly profanity my mother tries to settle on the living or other familiar spaces.
