With Kusajishi-san I happened to be the one who initially extended the open invitation for a spar, and she was the one who responded first. I didn't think it appropriate of me to turn her down. In this case I feel I have more say as it is you who is extending the invite, and I'm under no obligation to accept or decline if I choose not to.
If you would like to spar for the sake of burning that abundance of energy, there are a few students who would be more than happy to train with you. If you'd rather spar for knowledge of your art and its role when coupled with other forms, I'd suggest requesting a professor's time and attention.
I'm not some impatient kid, I know what I'm doin'. Fighting the best of every style is the fastest way I can improve, so I'll spar with anyone I have to to do it.
