This weekend was exhausting, but extremely worthwhile.
Saturday was Paul’s wedding. It was very mellow and informal. The ceremony had elements of a Hawaiian wedding coupled with more traditional themes. A good time was had by all who attended. Thanks to certain guests I learned a few things about Russians and Vodka…and all the tasks, I was responsible for, went off without my personal involvement being required.
Sunday I held my AD&D campaign. We figured since we had all of the people who really cared about the storyline mostly present we’d try and further the plot. It ran the entire day and well into the night. The party managed to narrow down their options of involvement within the political turmoil and set off on a course of action. Unfortunately they’ll have to wait about another year before they find out what’ll become of their decisions. I feel bad about not being able to game with this group more often, but current situations not-withstanding I think we all had a good time and were pleased that we were able to get this far.
Through the powers of the Interweb and several calendar programs that are overly complex (thanks Microshaft for designing such useless appointment trackers) I’ve been able to (sort of) layout my plans for my pre-deployment vacation.
If you have not discovered the usefulness and possible nuisance of
MySpace…I suggest you check it out. There you will find my profile and a link to my calendar that shows my intended vacation plans. Feel free to shoot me a message if you’d like to be included in them and you see a convenient time for you. Be forewarned, I may have to shuffle my time around, but we’ll try and work something out.
Grimm Nova’s MySpace I had a lot of people asking for my time when they first discovered that I was leaving. Since they have not bothered to contact me in about a month I figured it would be only fair to give priority to those who actually keep in touch. For the most part I only “penciled-in” plans, but some plans are “in ink”. Therefore I was (and am) able to clear up a lot of time and remove a lot of cursory planned events. If you’d like to know more or want to spend time send me a message or give me a call. My cell phones are your best bet seeing as I’ll be on the move the entire time I’m on vacation.
