Mann sometimes me and my chinese family friends thinks that CHinese parents are pimps. Like today at lunch with one of my cousin who got married.

Guy(One of my distant relative): Hello, sooo do you have any brothers?
Groom: Not really, i was the last one in the family.
Guy: Do you know of anyone who is looking for a girl friend...or someome special.

uhhhhhh....wierdest feeling ever, seeing someone asking a question like that.

Calvin and Hobbes:

"Dad, can I buy a grenade launcher?...."MAke your own money".

Errr, I think you misused to term "pimp" here. I think they are more weird or strange, than pimps.

haha, I can see we like different things about Calvin and Hobbes.

50% of both, aha, you have no corpus callosum

Cool, my dad was a Pig, and my mum's a Dog, so that makes me a Pog. *laughs insanely at own sad joke*

As for Alexi, the gr 11's now 12's were a LOT cooler than us. Seriously. More mature in some ways as well, I can name many more "cool and mature" gr 11's now 12's than in our year. Our year was full of jocks and Asian kids, their year is full of creative and artsy types.

Mom: Then go out and get one.
You should bring home a guy one day just to freak your mom out.

How DOES one get a girlfriend?
*coughs and points to those websites I gave you earlier* lol
Or grab a can of Axe and just stay away from the senior's home! But, uh, for regular purposes, be nice and listen to them and don't chew with your mouth open and you'll be good to go *thumbs up*

I have been working hard to prepare to become a good family guy, but the funny thing about this is, you never know if you are a good family guy until you have your own.I already know what kind of parent I'll be. Which is also the reason why ( ... )

Please define mature in your response. I need an answer. To me, creative and artsy in the Gr 11 seems to be a method of expression, much like our Gr 12s with the jocks and their sport ability. It's a way to express something else. When I look into them, I see the same things as our year, if not more blatantly. People are trying to be cool, trying to impress the opposite sex relentlessly, pursuing pointless goals like being the biggest "player" or looking for a big name through the mask of a new generation. Our year was about physical being. Their year is about "demonstrating themselves as they are". It's funny to see so many of them being themselves, while most of them being so similar.

Bill Watterson is TOO uncredited for his work. His brilliance lies in his ability to draw facial expressions, and his satire of the world through either Calvin and Hobbes. The Fight Club essay is just funny as hell.

Maturity as in the direction of life they are pursuing, and having started foundations to build potential careers out of. If they were into acting, they were in plays, on TV, going out for commercial opportunities. If they drew, they created their own magazines and signatures, and knew their style and worked to enhance it. If they loved music, they were in bands, in competitions and were already making connexions in the music industry. I see their maturity in the way they balance all these activities with school life, in the creativity they use to answer questions in class, and how closely knit they were, suggesting a maturity in friendship as well. They knew (or pretended to know) who they were, and that's a sign of maturity. Compared to the jock in the same light, I guess you could say they are both expressive and mature in both respects. But one cannot be a jock their whole life ( ... )

I just want to sit with someone. Just having someone sitting beside you, not talking, but still communicating in a level transcending the superficial. Can you picture it? Sitting in the park, and every now and then, we would look at each other, and smile. Just a peaceful sitting, where no secrets are revealed, no position taken by any side, nothing to prove.

i know what you mean...

Then maybe one day we can sit.

Do you really know? Because most people don't.
