I understand now why people ship Albus/Gellert more - there's just more you can do with them, more characterization with Gellert, the good/evil thing, the arc of Albus getting good-er and Gellert getting evil-er.... but I always felt there was more canon basis/subtext for Albus/Elphias.

But now I'm like BOTH. Or your theory above. *points*
