for some reason, everyone loves to hate them. dunno why. i think because they're punk brats, but history certainly hasn't proven that a liability in the music industry. i find their stuff truly refreshing and an example of everything right with a style that since 8CYLINDER, has produced nothing more exciting than the 4 tracks pumping out of your Gameboy Tetris cartridge. do they think they're gods gift to the world, sure. are they pompous little twats ? check. do they each need a good spanking ? double-check. but their shit really is good and I seem to be the only non fan-boy 12-15yr old who notices this.
granted i've been voted least "Good taste in music" on Facebook Compare People. but then, i love walking the plank on a sinking ship :)
that crimewave song ganked that synth sound from that rapper who ganked it from some poor demo-scene guy in the netherlands for a ringtone or something
haha it all sounds good to me too- but i wonder if that's only from a nostalgia sense via the 8bit synth noises? all the vocals sound like someone was on mushrooms (not a bad thing)
