Texas should be warmer than this. I grudgingly had to turn on my heater. Normally I just mooch off the apartment below (bad insulation + heat rises= warm second floor apartment), but the downstairs tenant is gone to work. Curses ( Read more... )

Oh, bitch, please. (To the customer.) It's patently obvious that Zach Synder wanted to be as faithful as he possibly could - if you can't detect the hand of the director changing the story, he has done his job. And wanting it both to be more faithful and have new life in it - damn, bitch, stfu, you can't have it both ways. (Since this was a customer, you probably couldn't say that.)

I tried to reasonably say that, but he was having a major hate-on for the movie. He definitely is the sort that enjoys hating comics. Rather expensive hobby to love to hate, I'd think, but clearly my logic and his are on different levels.

Man, I see people with little kids in rated R movies all the time and it makes me crazy. It's rated R for a reason! What the hell is wrong with people?! Hostel! Some people had kids in the theater when I went to see Hostel! Ugh... I hope their children grow up and kill them.

I wonder what the statistical odds of that happening are. Seems like taking your kids to see gory movies at a young age would make them more inclined to murderous rampages.
