You can always go the way I did and have one custom-made. You can get exactly what you want made to fit you without going on a killing spree in the bridal shop. Not being limited to the samples sizes alone is worth the cost, esp. since everyone seems to expect you to diet for the wedding. >.
I'm definitely on the track for custom, which oddly will be cheaper than bridal shop. Seems counter intuitive that hand made would be cheaper, but, there ya go. I'm ordering a petticoat from someone who also does wedding gowns and rockin' 1950s dresses ala Mad Men that would fit the bill close enough. We're already talking fabrics and designs and such.
Strangely, no one has yet said the D word to me. Future husband and I are exercising. Which works out better for me, because I loves me some food, and any attempt at diets left me frustrated and constantly craving things, whether or not I was hungry. Exercise feels much better, so for now I'm sticking with that.
Hahaha, you didn't see the post on Facebook? I guess a baby can be distracting. ;-) There's a youtube video of the proposal and everything.
Yeah, he's a really sweet, geeky guy. Although we're different kinds of geeks. I'm comics, he's video games. I loved Lost, he loves Doctor Who. We speak different dialects of Geek, but we still understand each other most the time, and try to share our nerdy obsessions from time to time. We're getting married next May at White Rock Lake.
