Poor Snape. I wish he had a better end. It was one of the more interesting characters, I think.

Not really. In fact I actually found it very unsatisfying. The whole idea that Snape could love Lily so much and yet *only* have perceptible hate for Harry for the whole first part of the series makes me not quite buy it. I will obviously have to go back tot he beginning and look for clues.

I also was expecting a bit more explanation about what Snape and Petunia were (he=part vampire? she=would have been better as a squib or something--didn't like how she was resolved--for example she knew what a howler was, but how?).
