The worst case scenario, they will kill me. Then perhaps I will die. That will be the end of it. If I come back, regardless of what I may lose - memory or limb - everyone will understand my return, and things will return to the exact same routine, just as it has happened to those before me.

I am unsure as to what I am hoping to accomplish aside from some form of response.

Perhaps they seek conflict for conflict's sake. I do not know how far I trust their words or actions myself. They certainly seem to hold power greater than our own.

Do you have any guess at what they might do, or are you shouting in the dark?

I am guessing they will go after me with violence. Perhaps I will see one's face. Or perhaps they will live up to what they appear to want to do and attempt some sort of upheaval.

Then look for the unexpected when that violence comes. Do not think that it will be with any normal weapon. I am the one who was buried alive--I did not even conceive of that as a possibility.
