Hey man. We haven't really talked, but I've gto some good advice for you...TAKE DRUM LESSONS. Beleiev me, I've been playing for over 5 years now, and I sucked for about the first year, until I took some decent drum lessons. I got better right away, and then I just kept on getting better even after I wasnt in them anymore. They help so much it's ridiculous. Speaking of which I have some at 3:30 today.
Oh and yeah you should definately get a double kick, it adds so much to your kit.

Thats awesome about the double kick. What kind did you get, I have the Pearl Eliminator. It's pretty sweet but it's not the best. I want something better haha. I'm getting a new drumset soon....hopefully.
